You are not defective or broken. Your struggles likely originate from unmet emotional needs, or even abuse and neglect, in childhood, leaving you stuck in painful thought patterns. But healing is possible. With compassionate, psychodynamic support, you can transform unhealthy relationship dynamics, process past traumas, and start enjoying life again.

Christina specializes in helping adults who experienced childhood adversity. Her warm, empathic approach incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR,) Attachment-Focused EMDR, and psychodynamic techniques to get to the root of your pain, without requiring you to repeatedly retell your story. Many clients report that they "feel so much lighter" after sessions.

Her knowledge of brain science and extensive training in evidence-based techniques creates a space for efficient, lasting change. You don't need to wait years for talk therapy breakthroughs. EMDR typically allows for the processing of trauma in about half the time it would take using talk therapy alone. Christina works together with her clients to develop a customized treatment plan to meet their unique needs. She will guide you, support you, and champion you as you process the past, integrate lessons learned, and regain hope for the future. You deserve to feel whole, confident, and strong again - let's get started.

Christina is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California (License #10716) as well as a licensed telehealth provider in the state of Florida. She graduated from UCLA with my Bachelor of Arts and earned my Master of Science degree from the University of LaVerne. She has worked with trauma survivors for the last 9 years including incarcerated young men, youth in foster care, human trafficking survivors, and survivors of childhood abuse and neglect . As an EMDR trained therapist she finds that using online EMDR, including attachment focused EMDR, as well as traditional talk therapy provides the most benefit to her clients.

Christina also enjoys working with women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s that have had complicated relationships with their mothers. She finds that many of these women struggle in their relationships which then becomes a barrier to fulfilling the life goals they had set for themselves. If this resonates with you, please know that you don’t have to feel helpless. With therapy, you can process the patterns that keep you from healthy relationships and develop an action plan to help you feel empowered in your life.

When Christina is not working, she enjoys traveling to warm, tropical places and spending time with her family. She is a mom to 2 adult daughters, 1 teen son and her fur babies which include an American Bully, French Bulldog, and a Tabby Cat. She is a first generation American and was born and raised in Los Angeles.
