Anxiety therapy for when your mind won't slow down.
You're worried all the time, your body is always on alert, and it's getting harder to rest or connect with the people you love. Anxiety is treatable, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.
- ●Racing thoughts at 3 a.m.
- ●A tight chest, stomach knots or tense shoulders
- ●“What if” thinking that never lets up
- ●Avoiding things you used to handle
- ●Feeling irritable, on edge and exhausted
Anxiety usually has roots
Anxiety isn't a character flaw. It's a nervous system that learned to stay on high alert, often for good reasons. For some people it traces back to early attachment wounds or trauma. For others it shows up with life changes, like the hormonal shifts of perimenopause, or as the intrusive thoughts and rituals of OCD.
Therapy helps you understand where your anxiety comes from and gives your brain and body a new way to respond.

How long does anxiety therapy take?
It depends on the type of anxiety, how long you've had it, and the approach we use. Many people notice changes within the first couple of months, and focused approaches like CBT often run around 6 to 20 sessions. Anxiety tied to trauma may take longer. We'll talk about a realistic plan in your first sessions.
Does online therapy work for anxiety?
Yes. Research shows online therapy can work as well as in-person therapy for many people with anxiety. Many clients also find it easier to open up from the comfort of home, with no commute or waiting room.
Do you take insurance?
We're in-network with Aetna and First Health, and we bill most other PPO plans for you as an out-of-network provider. See our fees and insurance page or check your benefits with our secure tool.
Can you prescribe medication?
We don't prescribe medication, but we're happy to coordinate with your doctor or psychiatrist if medication is part of your care.
You don't have to keep feeling this way.
